Blaze won't charge

Starting to get extremely upset because I spent all this money on the Fitbit and it won't charge. I have tried using the wall adapter and plugging it into my PC. I'm now beyond extremely upset. It's also brand new out of the box, so there isn't any possible damage..

I'm sorry you're having problems to get your Blaze to charge 😕

 

If it's brand new, if you put it to charge you will not see a battery indicator. Instead you will see a message saying "fitbit.com/setup" and if you want, you can just put it to charge for about an hour before setting it up.

 

After that, just go ahead and set it up to your account. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

If the Header stated more along the line of New Fitbit out of the box! Charging help!

yeah, i'm having a similar issue, but everytime i check back on its charge in the app, it shows no progress at all. it's been at least a half hour and nothing. i wouldn't expect it to be full by that point, but something to show progress would be nice. because of this, i can't use it. all it shows is the "fitbit.com/setup" screen and the app keeps telling me to update it, but i can't update it without a charge and it doesn't want to move on from this screen to let it charge.

I too am a new Blaze owner and am frustrated because tracker will not charge and cannot set it up until charged. No instruction manual. Poor customer support, 2 day response from support is silly for such a expensive product.
