I bought a blaze 2 days ago and it would absolutely not charge or bring up the battery symbol. I tried everything, taking it out and putting it back in, charging it from a laptop, charging it from the wall, and left it in the cradle hooked up for 3+ hours and still nothing. Returned it. Bought a new one and the same thing is happening. What am I doing wrong?! And yes I am putting it in the right way in the cradle I checked.

I have the same problem too, just happened yesterday after getting the Blaze last June. Unable to charge by using all types of electrical modes. Have sent an email requesting support.

@H_cubed018 have you setup the Blaze to your Fitbit account yet?
If you havent there will be no battery indicator, you will only feel a vibration while plugging the unit in.
Put it on the charger, let it stay there for a half hour snd while charging do the setup through the app

I have experienced the same problem charging on the laptop. If it is anything like a phone, even of there is no sim card, one can still put a charge on the battery. Why does it have to be connected? Maybe that is the reason these were on sale.....

Just bought mine an hour ago. The blaze won't snap firmly into the charger. With all that wiggle room I can't see how it can connect to the contacts. Even when I hold it down lightly, it still won't connect to the contacts. Before I read all these comments, I thought I'd just received a lemon. Now I'm not even sure I'll exchange it for another blaze. I'll be going back to my charge 2 while I decide what my next step it.

@step_master nobody has said that the tracker has to be connected to charge. We said that it has to be setup (connected) before the display will show a charging icon. This is simply because while the setup message is being displayed the firmware is not fully functional.
However as we have said all along, probably in 50 plus threads, there will be a vibration while connecting the tracker up.

Have you tried to change the wall socket because that will trigger it.
