Blaze won't charge

My Blaze is about a year and a half. I haven't had many problems with it other than long updates. This morning I didn't get a chance to put it on the charger before it turned itself off. Now it won't charge. It won't turn on. It looks like it is dead. Anyone know of anything I can do besides give this one a good burial and purchase another?

Do not purchase another one. Try another brand. Go back through the forums history and look at all of the queries/complaints about this very problem.  Myself included.

Thanks for the info. I think you're right this is a definite problem with these things. It has happened to a couple of friends of mine also including myself too.

I understand your frustration. I had 1 good week after disconnecting/reconnecting blue tooth with 2-3 days charge. But again, overnight it dropped to not even lasting 2 hours. What is with that??! They must have done an update again. Uugghh😠

Ya it’s probably pooched. If your still in the warranty period they are really good about offering you a replacement. If your out of warranty they will offer you a discount anywhere from 25 to 50 percent. I am on my second and I am being very careful about how I charge it. Never let it get completely depleted and never over charge it. I only charge it for an hour or 2 at the most. So far so good but I am only a month in with the new one. Will let everyone know if it goes bad. Good Luck

MINE IS LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OLD. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG WARRANTY IS FOR AND WHO DO I CONTACT?

THANKS

The warranty period is one year and it doesn’t start again with the replacement.

I contacted them through Twitter and they sent me a case number, then I called the support line. You could probably just start there. Also keep all your stuff bands, charger etc they only send the actual watch. Then look up the battery care article and follow it exactly. Over charging these things or letting them run completely out of power is all bad. I am also only charging with the USB on a computer no wall charger anymore. Hope that helps. Good Luck

I have owned my Blaze for 28 months. I've charged it once daily, usually in the evening while I shower, so it has literally never completely drained. Also, I like the sleep tracking so it never over-charged by being on the charger overnight. About 6 days ago it went from perfect function to refusing a charge. Bought a new charger but still won't work. No pressing and holding buttons for resets work. I feel that for $250+ this product should last FAR LONGER than 28 months! I took pristine care of my tracker, too! Fitbit has offered me a 25% discount on another purchase but I'm pretty upset at the moment...😠
