Blaze won't pair with Bluetooth

I have been following the instructions on how to pair my Fitbit blaze to Bluetooth to set up my new blaze and it won't work. I just bought it this afternoon and it won't pair or sync for set up.

A couple of questions, what device are you using to set up the Blaze?
What step does it fail?

Im having the same issue.  I have an iphone 6 and it keeps saying it cant find it.  It was working before and now its stopped and I cant sync it to my computer =/

I'm using an iPhone 6 and it won't do anything. It never goes past the Fitbit.com/setup screen. I just tried it on my laptop (PC) and it wouldn't move beyond "plug in dongle"

@ashley I suggest on the iPhone forget/delete the Bluetooth pairing, delete the App, reboot the phone, reinstall the app, ensure Bluetooth is on, try and use cellular rather than WiFi if you have a strong enough signal, as somewhere I read the polling of Bluetooth can interrupt the WiFi, and then start the add new device process again, from within the app.

Unfortunately, none of that has worked either. The fit bit has not even been found by Bluetooth, literally nothing is coming on the screen beyond Fitbit.com/setup

@AshleyGM.  After you click "Set up New Device", what does that App say/do?

It asks me to agree to the terms and conditions then shows me what came in the package then it tries to sync with Bluetooth and my phone just gives me the troubleshooting help if it won't connect.

If it tries to sync then the Fotbit should already be set up,  but the Blaze ahowing the fitbit.com/setup says it is not.

My thought would go to your device page and add the Blaze to your account again.

When setting it up,  it needs to find the Blaze, display a code on the app and Blaze, you will need to confirm.

Let us know what step out fails at.

Once I enter the app, I begin setting up the app and press "Next" and on the app it just keeps "searching" for the device. I have taken my Jeep's Bluetooth off my iPhone and thought maybe it was "clogging" up my Bluetooth's availability, but my phone/app never moves beyond "searching" for the Blaze and all the Blaze says is Fitbit.com/setup with an arrow. I am able to "restart" the Blaze by pressing the middle button on the left and the bottom right button. I've cleared all running applications on my phone, I've turned on/off my Bluetooth, I've restarted the app, turned my phone off/on, I've held the left button in for 15 seconds, I feel like I've tried everything possible. I've exchanged devices and I'm getting the same results. I just don't get it. 😭

@AshleyGM        Just out of curiousity - does the Blaze already show up under your Bluetooth on the phone?  If so, chose forget this device and try again.  (If you haven't already)

@ladynay i needed to search back to see what wasn't working, and what phone. Iphone 6

I'll assume you have tried the normal hard reset, the shutdown through the Blaze settings screen, turned off then on the phone, went into the phones BT settings and told it to forget the Blaze. Now open the app and try to sync.

If none of the above doesnt work, try adding the Blaze as a replacement device to your account.

You also stated the computer doesn't work,  if it is a Win10 have you tried syncing through the cable? Plug it in, wait for the drivers to download, then the app should sync.

Unless your computer supports BT Low Energy you need enable BT classic on your Blaze for your computer to see it.

But the Blaze needs BTLE to sync, amd this would require a Fitbit dongle, or a pc with BTLE and the Win10 app. BT classic is unable to sync, and is used only for music control.
