Please help!! For a few days now my Blaze isn't syncing with my iphone OR the dashboard on fitbit.com. But it is collecting data on the devide because a work-out / steps etc are being recorded on it.
Only basic calories are showing on dashboard and it is 'resting cals' not the actuals. Steps, sleep and excerise doesn't show.
Does anyone know what I ned to do? I've been working out like a demon for the past few days but i CAN'T SEE MY DATA!!

Hi there @a11ie, welcome to the Community Forums.
The value that you see on your tracker and dashboard when you wake up in the morning or now that your Blaze is not syncing, is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far. You still burn calories even if you have been sedentary or were sleeping. We estimate your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight. These are the minimum calories you'd need to burn every day to stay alive. It then populates your profile with this calorie to give you a sensible baseline against which to compare your future calorie burn once your tracker starts tracking your exercise and adding exercise calories to your BMR calories. The calories based on your BMR are automatically reflected on your dashboard even if you haven't synced yet.
While reading your post I was wondering if the syncing difficulties started after updating your iPhone to iOS 13? Have you tried the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? If so, please do the following:
- Open Settings app on phone
- Tap Privacy -> Location Services
- Tap Fitbit -> Change setting to Always
- Go back to main Settings page
- Scroll down to Fitbit
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned ON
Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

I got it to sync. I went in my apps on my iPhone and selected Fitbit. You have to select Bluetooth there and make sure it’s on in your settings also. Good luck

I have the same problem, went thru the trouble shooting as you explained and nothing, my FitBit will not show the texts from my iPhone on its screen.
