I received a new blaze a little bit over a month ago, as a replacement for my last Blaze (battery draining in a couple hours issue. Finally got around to trying to connect up to music control today, but Bluetooth classic seems to not be working on this device.
1) I put my Blaze's Bluetooth Classic setting into "Pair" mode. It displays "Pair" on the screen.
2) I open up my phone and scan for available devices.
3) "Blaze (Classic)" never shows up.
I wondered if this was an issue with my phone, so I tried searching for it on other devices (like my tablet, laptop). It doesn't show up there either.
Am I missing something, or is my Bluetooth classic not working on this device?
@SunsetRunner are you asking if Bluetooth is working on your phonr? Or tracker?
You mention the phone doesn't see any other BT devices, I would do a complete shutdown off the phone since this is the only way to fix a hardware problem.
Best AnswerMy tracker's bluetooth classic does not not appear in any of my other devices scans while it's in "Pair" mode.
The phone does see other devices just fine. The fitbit is the only one that doesn't show up.
Annndddd...this time I tried, and it worked! I swear I did it the same way, but willing to admit operator error ![]()
Nevermind.
