Boxercise with blaze

Has anyone else experienced problems with the Fitbit blaze whilst doing any impact sports? I have stopped wearing mine during boxercise because it keeps jumping from app to app and can only presume it is due to the impact from punching the pads. This makes me wonder if it will also do this whilst off road mountain biking

Welcome to the Forums @James70!I would like to ask some questions to better understand your issue, can you please let me know if when you mentioned that it keeps jumping from app to app do you mean on the Blaze, from screen to screen? If this is what you are referring to, after reviewing the Feature Request board on our Community I noticed this idea is related to what you are experiencing: Touchscreen Lock please take a moment to vote and add your comment, the more votes it gets more opportunities it has to be noticed by our developers.

If you are referring to the phone app please provide me more details so I can further assist you

Let me know if you have any questions! 🙂

Hi sorry I didn't make it very clear. It's the blaze itself that jumps about and it's not because the screen is touched or the buttons pressed. I can only presume it is down to the sudden shock from movement when striking the pads that causes it. This makes me wonder if when people are off road mountain biking do they have the same problem with the shock coming through the handlebars. How much indirect shock can the blaze withstand I wonder. The idea of being able to lock the screen I think is a good idea 😊

@James70 With the exception of quick view, I don't believe there is any connection directly from movement to control the screen and tend to agree with @AngelaMa

I have found my sleeve changing the screen and many boxers found that the glove pauses the event.. This pause can either be done by button or a touch of the screen, so it is hard to say what is causing the pause.

As for bike riding the most I've heard is that the user receives false steps through the handlebars.

@James70 thanks for your reply. My advise is to contact our support team for assistance, they can review your tracker's back-end information and determine if it's working properly. @Rich_Laue it's great to see you around! 🙂
