Calorie Burn and Sleep

Hi hope some one can help I have had my blaze for a week now and I'm a little confused by some of the readings. I have a sedentary job but try to have a walk at lunch and gym in the evening. Given this my calorie burn is in the high 3000 by the end of the day and I can't see that I am burning this much given the activity in the day?

Also my sleep tracker worked fine the first night however over the last few days it's showing I have only had 40 to 50 mins sleep and awake 20 times.

Thanks in advance for your help.

@MattN69 You can check out how calories are calculated by going here.

Keep in mind BMR, activity, and heart rate are all factors in determining calorie burn. If you're seeing unusual calorie burn, I would check to make sure your profile information is completely accurate (weight, height, etc.) and also verify you're getting accurate heart rate readings from your Blaze (if HR is malfunctioning, this could result in higher calorie burn).

If your HR readings are acting weird, can always try a restart of your Blaze.

As for sleep, sounds like you might have "Sleep Tracking" set to "Sensitive". Try switching the setting to "Normal" in the device settings.

Hope this helps. 🙂
