Trying to set notifications between Fitbit Blaze and Android app. Getting message (in subject line) in the Notification section of my phone. Also getting message "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker".
I have done multiple restart of my phone with no success. My Fitbit app was updated to the latest 12 hours ago. Please help. I require the notifications to run.

I'm having the exact same problem with my Charge 2 - please help!
(My notifications have been a bit buggy for the last couple of weeks too - not sure if that's related. Phone is Sony Xperia Z5 Compact running Android 7.1.1)

Same problem on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5a. Nothing's wrong with the connection between my Blaze and phone though. Notifications still work. It just says that it lost access to the status bar and doesn't say how to fix it. I have no idea what to do as I have also restarted my phone many times but the same thing shows.

Hey @Mooowa, @lintilla and @NLet53 it's great to see you around.
Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourselves. If you keep having issues with your notifications, I recommend verifying that you are following the instructions provided in the How do I setup calls/texts notifications? post.
If you keep seeing an error, provide me with a screenshot of it by following the steps provided here.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the screenshot @Andy_CC, great to see you here.
Have you tried to restart your phone? If you haven't, I recommend doing this. You can also try to log out and log back to your Fitbit account.
Keep me posted.
