Can't sync Blaze to computer

I am at a complete loss. I don't understand how to get my blaze synced with my computer.  the computer has windows 8, and everytime i plug in the usb cord to the computer the same screen never goes away asking me to plug in dongle. I'm not very good at technology, and i LOVE my fitbit, but this is stressing me out! Help please!

This link may help, a quick search for Windows 8 found it. 

You can use the Fitbit Connect software, but this requires a dongle. 

If this is not your first Fitbit any Fitbit dongle will work. I would contact fitbit

Hello @LeftyRea welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 Where you able to sync your Blaze with your computer, as @Rich_Laue mentioned to sync you need an USB Dongle if you don't have one don't hesitate to reach out to our support team so they can assist you.

When you open the fitbi app on your computer, click on "check for device update" it'll ask you to log in, after logging in, it'll tell you " your Fitbit tracker is already up to date" on the bottom right you will see a button saying "go to dashboard" click on it and it will open your dashboard. This worked on my iMac.
