Charge, syncing and time issues

My wife bought me the Blaze for Christmas.  I have not  been able to sync it to the PC, and my wife has only been able to sync it twice. It does not seem to charge consistently, but it seems to charge when it is dead.  The time is correct for perhaps a day before it has the wrong time. One time, it was off by 5 hours and 24 minutes. What is the trick to get it to charge and sync?

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. I will be glad to help you with the issues you have been experiencing with your Blaze.

 

  • About the battery, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there.
  • About the syncing, follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post. Once you get to constantly sync your device the time on your Blaze should be correct.

I got it to sync. I have no idea how because the Blaze was no near the
computer and was on a different floor of the house. I spent about 3 hours
this morning trying to sync it with a PC with Windows 10, and I kept
getting a message "Unexpected error." There are no mobile devices in the
house. I wish I knew why it sync'd because it would not sync when I
followed the instructions. I was so frustrated that I put the Blaze in the
basement. Hours later, it said it sync'd minutes ago.
