Hello team,

i was wondering what is the recommended way to charge my smart watch. Is it ok if I use an iPhone or a Samsung charger? I am asking because different chargers are using different voltage. For example I charge my smartphone only with the official charger.

Thank you

Fitbit's advice is:

"We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your device."

I think the UL safety certification is a US thing. In Europe we look for CE certification.

I've been using fitbits for over 4 years now and I've always used a wall charger and have yet to have an issue.
