Cleaning the Blaze sensor

Well I have had my Blaze for almost a week now and am trying to figure out the best way to keep it clean. I wear it day and night but notice that the back of it where the sensor is builds up crud and I just am afraid to damage or scratch it.. I was thinking maybe a screen protector can be put on the back but just trying to get some ideas... Cat Frustrated

Just take a dry microfiber cloth and rub the "gunk" off of it.  I do it every two of three days when done charging it.  I also wipe off the band with plain water and it looks like new.
