Hello @Huntrah this is interesting, no i haven't received steps from esculators or elavators. All Fitbits are designed to count floors only when steps are being detected.
If you are not one who marches in place to get those steps in, then i would try a restart of the tracker.
Now if the Blaze is detecting steps while the elavator is going up, look at the step count before and after the elavator ride, then the floors would be expected.

Hello @Huntrah welcome to the Fitbit Community! Your tracker detects floors using an altimeter, which is a sensor that calculates altitude based on atmospheric pressure. Atmospheric pressure decreases with increasing elevation, so the tracker calculates elevation gain based on the reduction in atmospheric pressure. Your tracker registers a floor when it detects continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of 7 to 10 feet. Your tracker may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally your tracker may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. If you want to negate the floors tracked during this time, you can negate them as instructed here. @Rich_Laue thanks for your cooperation!
