I have a fairly new fitbit blaze only 7 months old and it has developed a crack across the face of the unit. I am 72 years old and in good health I only use my Fitbit blaze as a heart monitor and for walking, I had a heart attack in October last year so I wanted this watch so I could monitor these two exercise modes. After 7 months it developed the crack across the face I do not sleep with the unit on and do not do strenuous exercise that would cause the problem. So I contacted Fitbit regarding the warranty and after ten days they finally advised me that they do not cover this kind of problem. Though the watch does work well enough this crack makes the watch unusable. So the warranty from Fitbit is useless as there is numerous owners with the same problem. I am here to advise you as the general public do not purchase fitbit products as they are all a very poor product as well as poor in construction and design.I have two other family members who have re occuring problems with other Fitbit products

Hi, @briangair, it is perfectly correct to say that the Fitbit warranty does not cover accidental damage to the prduct. This is standard for many products.
However, if you feel that the crack in your screen was not caused by accidental damage but instead can be attributal to a fault in the device, then I would strongly recommend that you get back in touch with them and discuss the situation further.
