Crazy High Calories (even when not on wrist)

My Blaze today currently says that I have burned 4,464 calories....

It is 2:45 PM.. .all I have done is gone to work and had lunch (and I have a desk job)... my usual sedentary bmr is 2,300.    This is my 2nd fitbit and other days it has been fine.

I clicked on the calories tab and it showed me with a surge of burned calories at 8 AM and I didnt' even get up until 9 AM... I don't wear the blaze to sleep (it is too bulky).  it was sitting on my nightstand  (not charging).

I am not sure when the calorie surge occurred... is there something that could have made it all wonky?

It's great to welcome you @Mel85CJ. It is weird to hear that your tracker is registering that amount of calories. Are you manually logging an activity that might be giving you extra calories? Also, please check your height, weight, etc., settings by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Personal Info

3. Edit if necessary

4. Save

5. Sync

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Nope... no manually adding an activity..

I checked my height and weight - all correct...

When I look into the app deeper, I see that it says I was doing some sort of activity at 7AM, when I was still asleep and the fitbit was on my nightstand (not charging).... there is another person who posted today that he experienced a similar thing last night.
