Deleted Fitbit App And Lost All Data

My Fitbit app wasn't syncing, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. There was no warning about losing information, but now it's gone! Any idea how to get it back?

Any data that has synced goes to the Fitbit computers database.  You can access it from any app, any computer, delete and reload app, as long as you log in with same ID.

Often when you seem to have lost all historic data, it turns out that you logged back in with a different Fitbit ID/email, maybe one you signed up with a while ago, instead of current one.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Is your history showing on fitbit.com

No, it's gone from both the app and the dashboard.

On the web you are logged into a seven year old account.

A user does not have the ability to directly remove data. They can add an event called driving to modify, removing steps.

It still sounds like you have 2 fitbit accounts
