I recently got the Fitbit blaze for Christmas and have loved it. However, I turned it on this morning and was syncing it with my phone. It synced all of yesterday’s stats and changed the date to today - but the steps did not reset. It started adding on to yesterday’s steps and calories burned instead of starting back from 0!
Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?
thanks

Hi, @SunsetRunner, this can happen if, for some reason, the tracker did not "see" midnight and therefore get the signal to reset. Although it should be okay to leave it turned off over night, when people report this happening (other than when changing timezone, which is a different issue), it usually turns out that their device was switched off.
9 times out of 10 -- or better -- you should be okay switching it off, but if you do, I think you will find that this happens very occasionally. I haven't quite got to the bottom of why it works sometimes and not others, but I am quite sure it is related to having it off at midnight.
I would suggest giving your Blaze a restart (just for good measure) and everything should be fine in the morning. Unfortunately once this has happened there is no mechanism for getting rid of the steps for today.
