My friend and I both own a blaze. We ran together today, started and stopped our blazes at the same time, ran the same route but there was a 0.5km difference! Why??

Hi there @moominmumof2. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
When it comes to distance, the way that Fitbit calculates it is by multiplying the number of steps you take by your stride length. This will result in different calculations for each person of course because of their height and therefore, their stride length.
If you'd like a more accurate distance calculation, make sure you're using the "Run" shortcut in the exercise shortcuts on your Blaze and that the GPS is connecting to your phone. Connected GPS will ensure that the distance you're getting is the one coming from the GPS which is a little more accurate as it doesn't rely on your stride length.
Hope this answers your question. Anything else, I'll be happy to help!
