It's not possible to lock the buttons though feel free to add as suggestion on the Feature Requests subforum found in the help forums section.

At this time, I am unaware of any way to disable the buttons.

I have a kind of work around! Pop your blaze watch piece out of the surround, spin it round 180° and pop it back in. The buttons no longer align so they don't press when working out!

nice when i train in boxing it would keep pausing I am going to give it a try

I solved this problem by buying a Polar watch which DOES have a button lock feature.
