Bought a blaze a week ago and am disappointed. In my line of work I gave to move my arms a lot while not walking. But blaze picks up my movements as steps. Also played golf today and course is 4.3miles. But blaze said I walked 5.9 miles not good. Thinking of returning it. Daily step count is moles off.

Please remember that the Blaze by itself, has no way to measure miles, it uses your step count, and the set stride to calculate, think it as taking an educated guess, at the distance.
As for arm movements being recirded as steps, since the Blaze is mounted on the arm it can only monitor arm movements. It is looking for arm movements that say that the feet are moving. Yes it is not perfect, making sure the arm settings are correct will help weed out false steps if you really move the arms a lot then maybe the Fitbit One woyld be a better choice.
So why are arm mounted trackers so popular? First for the convenience of not having to seitch it between articles of clothing, second because of the aditional bells and whistles.

The arm settings are found under your tracker settings. https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device
Or the app - account - blaze - wrist placement
Dominant if it is on the arm that you use most
