Prior to getting a Blaze a year ago, I had an original FitBit for several years. There were growing pains for both of us (FitBit and Myself). So when I got a Blaze I believed the Company had sorted out their problem, having introduced several new models, and the Blaze would be a great buy.
I was partially right. The clock face looks good .... but on some of the fundamentals it fails.
"All Day Sync" has not worked following several software upgrades, manual sync does not work, neither with my phone nor my laptop. After the last upgrade the sleep report more than doubled the hours of sleep on the "summary dashboard" but recorded it correctly when I dug down a level. Heart beat monitor is sporadic and I don't even bother with the exercise or caloric consumption programs.
I have reset my Blaze several times as suggested in the Forum as a panacea for all problems, reset the sleep options - however when it won't sync, it's just a fancy watch the you have to charge every 3 days.
With so many options in the market with great reputations and some with lower prices, I'm just getting tired of fighting with my Blaze hoping it will live up to the expectations I had when I bought it.
Time to move on.
