Blaze syncing, battery and activities issues

Does anyone else have issues with the Blaze? I had a Charge HR that broke over time and I expected equal or better results from the Blaze. This is not the case.  Here of some of my issues:

- Does not sync properly as the data for the day on my Blaze sites not match what gets uploaded to my account

- Does not log naps even with sleep sensitivity turned up

- Often does not log steps while in run/walk/hike exercise mode

- Poor battery life as I need to charge it every other day

- Doesn't interface completely with the Galaxy S8 (had the above issues with my S6 as well).  This problem should be fixed if Fitbit gets a firmware release to make the S8 compatible ... But still waiting on that.

Honestly wishing I would have saved the $ and just gone with a warranty replacement in the Charge HR.  Anyone else seen the above issues and have fixes?

It's great to welcome you @nononononon. Regarding to the issues your are having with your Blaze, take a look at the following:

  • If you are experiencing syncing inconveniences, I recommend taking a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there.
  • About the sleep stages, check in this post the instructions that our friend @FerdinandFitbit is mentioning in order to have this information.
  • How are you logging your activities? Are you letting SmartTrack or are you manually logging them? Since, I recommend selecting the activity directly from your tracker and then just sync it. By doing this you will be able to see your information during that period of time.
  • About the Samsung Galaxy S8 compatibility, our team is hard working in testing the compatibility of several devices, your patience will be much appreciated. You can keep an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

  • Syncing issues: the data syncs - but not correctly.  For instance, my tracker will log 10 out of 10 active hours but syncs only 9 out of the 10.  The step count is the same, however.  This seems like a bug as it does sync - the data transfer is not complete despite multiple syncs.  The link you sent was if it wasn't syncing at all, so that was not helpful.
  • Sleep stages: the link you sent says that it still should log naps - it just won't log sleep stages for anything less than 3 hours.  My fitbit won't log ANY data for naps.  Link was also no help.
  • SmartTrack: I am not manually logging my activity.  That would be obvious why my tracker doesn't log steps.  I select the SmartTrack activity directly from the Blaze tracker.  It still does not log steps for that specific activity (it will log steps though for the total of the day which is weird).
  • Battery: Interesting that you chose not to address my battery complaint.
  • Samsung S8:  checking this religiously.  Still - the Blaze was subpar when connected to my S6.  The Charge HR firmware was by far superior for the basic functionality.  Is there another firmware update for the Blaze in the near future?

  • Regarding that inconvenience, our team is aware it and is working in finding a solution for it. Your patience will be appreciated while they fix this.
  • About the sleep and the steps, please restart your Blaze and then test it.
  • Sorry, you can take a look at this post where you will be able to find some instructions to follow about the battery issue.
  • I don't have information about but I recommend keeping an eye for any update message.
