Hi ! I bought a fit bit Blaze this weekend and set it up. So far, I love it! my question is i had my phone in the kitchen. and i had my fit bit Blaze on. and i was in my bed room., which is about 2 rooms away, not sure in feet or anything but all i really have to do is walk down hall past 2 rooms and im in my bed room. anyways, i reveievd a text around 1000 and did not get it via my fit bit blaze. i saw it this am when i went to the kitchen. do i have to be really close to the fit bit Blaze to receieve text? thanks!

No, although Bluetooth doesn't have the biggest range and different construction types can affect things, but it needs to be configured correctly and enabled. Have you had other texts on it?
