Do I need to turn off one device when using two?

Hello. I have two Fitbits, The Blaze and The Alta. I just got the Alta today. I am a CNA and this way I don't have to be without my fitbit (either or!) for work. My question is do I need to shut down the Blaze when its not in use, and I am wearing my Alta?

A warm welcome to the Community @jenrose91! Thanks for following the advise provided by @Rich_Laue. I've experienced the same thing, the reason it's because your Fitbit app will look for both trackers you have paired, once you want to sync one of them.

In this case, as it's showing in the app the first tracker paired it's Blaze so even if you want to sync your Alta; the app will automatically look for the Blaze first but if it doesn't find it then it will sync your Alta that's why you get the message "your sync has been scheduled". Since, you're using both I would recommend you to have both near your app so it syncs the steps you've done in both trackers.

Just make sure that under Alta tracker it says "synced a moment ago". This will confirm that you're syncing all your information. You can learn more about it by checking Can I use more than one Fitbit tracker with the same account?

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello I have two trackers on my account. I started with the Blaze and purchased an Alta today. I noticed that the dashboard shows the Blaze as the primary tracker...  How do I switch between the two...? I do not want to delete my Blaze.

No, just remove one and put the other on. It is also good to sync both if you have the time.

I did that, but I was wearing the Alta and it showed the Blaze on the dashboard. Then when I pulled down to sync, it said "your sync has been scheduled" is that normal?

I have two trackers on my account as shown in the screenshot below. I use the Alta for most of the day, and the Blaze for walking long miles and for work (I'm a CNA)

Currently I am wearing the Alta but when I pull down to sync it shows the Blaze and my steps arent syncing...

Yes @jenrose91 that is normal.

The app will try to sync every tracker on your account, one at a time.

Then it goes back and syncs the trackers whis step counts dont agree with the tracker that has the highest step count.

For me, this could be up to 7 syncs cycles. Yes i really should remove 1 or two, but i find each one has its advantage over the others at times. Screenshot_2017-08-13-00-53-14.png
