Any update on when the Turbo 2 is going to be live? We have the turbo 2, and literally, the ONLY reason that my wife bought the Blazes (one for her and for me), instead of the charge HR that she had (and the Vivofit that I had), is for the ability to control her music. To say that she is pissed because this $200 (x2) device doesn't work with a flag-ship, popular phone that's been out for 7 months is... a bit of an understatement. Before she returns these, I'd like to know if you're close and/or have and ETA for the Droid Turbo 2 having full functinoality with the Blaze? (Everything but the "classic" pairing, and therefore music control, currently works)

It's great to see you around @Bartonmd. So far we don't have updated information about the phones that are compatible. I recommend keeping an eye on our list of Compatible Mobile Devices. In the meantime, you can sync your tracker with your computer or a compatible phone.

Yeah, that's the stock post that's posted everywhere on this site. As I said, the syncing and notifications work fine with the phone. It's just the music control and "classic" bluetooth that doesn't work. I was hoping for an update to the answer from a month ago that said that the team is currently working on that phone's compatibility. Was it worked on, only to find that there is some endemic compatibily issue that will cause it to never be fully compatible, or is it just not there yet? Is there someone that I call and talk to, to get an actual answer?

It doesn't have anything to do with the program. It all works 100% on our old phones, the Droid Maxx. The issue is that it won't connect on the "classic" bluetooth, at all, to control the music on the Turbo 2. Been through all the tuturials, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc.. Looking around, this is a common issue with the new phones.

By connect are you saying that the BT Classic won't pair up to the phone. What error does the phone give you if this is the case. I find accepting the number on the Blaze first, then the app, seems to work better.

Yes. Tried all of that, twice each, on 2 different Turbo 2 phones.

Ok you've tried 'that', when you say it doesn't work. What is it that doesn't work?
Is the Blaze in the BT pair mode?
Is Blaze Classic disconnected from any nearby device that it may have at once been connected too. I would turn BT off on every nearby phone, computer, or tablet.
Does the phone find the Blaze?
Do the numbers show on the phone?
Do the same numbers show up on the Blaze?
Are you able to press yes in both the Blaze and the app, or do they not respond?
What error are you getting? Does it just say rejected by the Blaze?
Saying it doesn't work without saying what has been tried and where it fails, gives nothing to work with.
You might be better to call Fitbit and have them walk you through the steps. Contsct info may also be found by clicking the settings gear in the top right on l of the page, or under help in the app. Also found in the warranty link below.

Sorry, I didn't respond to your other questions, the first time. The regular, low-power bt pairing works fine. It's the "classic" bt pearing that doesn't connect, like I said above. The one you do from the bt settings, not from the ap. Yes, I turn the "classic" pairing on, on the Blaze, then go to the phone and try to pair. It tries for a bit and nothing comes up on either device (no PIN, no check box, etc.), then the phone gives the message "Couldn't pair with blaze classic because of incorrect PIN or passkey." Lots of this same error with many others with this and other newer phones, and that's when somebody from fitbit comes on with the form-response that you see above, saying the reason is because your phone isn't supported yet. I've seen a couple people with other phones say that 10th time was a charm or whatever, and I've tried it more times than that. Yes, away from other BT/wifi devices. Yes, I've uninstalled the ap and done the "classic" pairing before setting up the ap and low energy bt pairing. None of it seems to work. As I said, it works fine, just like it should, on my old phone, so I do know how to do it, and I'm not a noob to software/programming/technology/wireless.

As for pairing with the BTLE, the user has no control over this, the app is completely in charge here.
I find that a little weird since I'm able to pair and control the music even on the Kindle Fire, I would have never expected that.
If after restarting the Blaze, and the phone, turning all other BT servers of in the area doesn't fix this pairing issue, the best answer I can give is to call Fibit's customer service.

Yeah, I know the ap has control over the btle. Even when I reset the blaze and "forget" the blaze (btle) in the bluetooth settings on the phone, it still won't do it.
Yeah, I originally posted this to see if I could get an answer from fitbit about when/if this phone would be fully compatible, but looks like I might as well call them to find out.

These areas of the forum are mainly for Fitbit users to help out Fitbit users. There are a few Fitbit paid moderators that float around, but they are unable to check every post out.
Two things could be done, flag a moderator by name, or contacting Fitbit.
The Blaze really should pair to any BT phone as easy as a BT keyboard or speaker, whether it works after pairing is a different story.

If ypir trying to connect the Blaze and not the Blaxe classic through the phones BY screen you will see the message "Pairing Rejected:, thos is because it can not be paired thos way. This is the job of the app, and why permission is needed for the app to pair a bt device.
Now if the app says pairing rejected, then confirm the number on the Blaze before confirming on the phone.

Does the app find the Blaze?
Does the Blaze show the same code as the phone app does?
