Failing to sync to challenges...

So nothing is syncing right from my Blaze to the app nor to the website dashboard. The active hours are important to keep me moving and I usually wear my Fitbit on my ankle, not always easily accessible depending on my clothing/shoes for the day. I therefore depend on the app to sync and be up to date. Now the app is also not syncing my steps for challenges. This is the first time this has happened but I should be atop the leader board at this point and instead I am at the bottom with a mere 1000 some steps when my app and Blaze tell me I have almost 12000. I joined the challenge to keep myself accountable to steps this week and now it's just making me more frustrated with it not syncing correctly. Between the two issues I'm so pissed off at Fitbit. Just fix these issues! What happened in the past 2 weeks that all of a sudden there are issues with this now? I've restarted the tracker. I've deleted and reinstalled the app and shut down the phone and restarted with no success. Please get this fixed!!

Hello @LPark27 you start off by saying your Blaze isn't syncing its steps to Fitbit. Ok you said it isn't syncing to the app. Well it is not supposed to sync to the App, it syncs through the app, which can be thought of as a doorway.

Once the steps have synced, then the app goes out to Fitbit to get your data.

The syncing to the challenges happen on Fitbit, not the job of the app.

First we need to find out why the tracker isn't syncing. Do you sync through more than one device, and are the other devices not nearby, if they are turn then off, or at least their BT off.

Now let's restart the phone and the tracker.

I'd that doesn't help then take a look at Fitbit help doc on troubleshooting a non syncing tracker.

Please keep us updated.

Okay, I have no other devices paired, none other available to be paired for that matter. I have already restarted the phone and Blaze about an hour before this post. I did so about 15 mins ago it appears to possibly be working, but I guess I will not get back the steps to the challenge for the whole day? It's showing 2500 not the almost 13000 I've walked.
I went all through the troubleshooting and seems I've done all those things already. Any insight to getting the steps from earlier to count toward this weeks challenge?

Is your tracker now syncing to your daahboard?

If it is then my only suggestion would be to try a log out/in with the app.
