Fb Blaze text notifications

When I receive a text notification on my Fb Blaze, am I supposed to get a vibration as per of the notification, or does it simply appear on the screen momentarily?

I have noticed that calls result in a vibration to alert me, but texts seem not to do the same.

I get vibrations from regular text messages and FB Messenger, but they are far less noticeable. And they do show when I flip my wrist up.
