This feature may already be available and buried within the device somewhere but here goes.
In response to media reports that suggest part of the problem to the obesity epidemic is the over consumption of refined sugars is it possible to create a log and an alert :
a. for foods that have a high percentage of refined sugars.
b. when the daily allowance of refined sugars have been reached.
Most of the information about sugars are already included in food manufacturers labeling and this information is presented when logging food. Therefore, I would suggest it is not a huge leap to record this in a daily count and trigger an alert.
Look forward to your response.
Thank you

That's not possible Mike, as it's up to us to decide what to eat. Do we want all calories coming from junk foods (still being hungry and wanting more) or eating all calories from healthy foods (feeling more satisfied) and not being hungry as nourishing the body with foods that nature intended us to have.. or a combination of healthy and junk foods..
Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.
Important to prevent duplicates Search if the idea already has been suggested and add your vote / comment!

@SunsetRunner I take your point that the function would be reliant on keeping an honest log of food consumption but that goes the same with much of the other inputs; water, exercise, wearing the tracker. While we might choose to eat junk food some folks might not be aware of the reasons it is called junk whether it is high fat content, high sugar, salt, additives or a dangerous combination of each of these. Food labeling is advanced enough now for the developers to pick out the unhealthy ingredient and keep a running tote for us. As long as you say we are disciplined enough to keep an accurate log. @FerdinandFitbit thanks too Ferdinand I have added the idea to the Feature Request section. There are some similar type suggestions but another post won't do any harm.
