Feature Request Automatically Turn Off Notification Vibration when Sleeping

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

FitBit knows when I'm sleeping. FitBit knows when I'm awake.

It would be great if the Blaze had an option to automatically turn off the vibration from notifications when it knows I am asleep at any time, and an option to automatically turn off vibrations if I am asleep during specific time periods.

I know there's the option to turn off notifications from the Blaze screen, but I don't always know when I will fall asleep, then I have to remember to turn it on when I wake up. As well, I understand I can setup "do not disturb" in my phone's settings, but I don't want to be disturbed when I am actually sleeping, not always during a specific time period, and I don't always go to sleep at the same time or wake up at the same time.

For example, I don't want the vibration from notifications to wake me up if I am asleep between 10pm and 8am any day of the week, and I don't want to be disturbed if I am taking a nap on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, but if I take a nap Monday - Friday afternoon, I don't mind being woken up by vibrations from notifications.

I don't want the notifications completely turned off, just the vibration. It would be nice to quickly see the notifications when I awake, but not be woken up by the vibration from the notification.

Lastly, exceptions would be great. For example, I always want to get vibration notifications from Goofle Calendar, regardless of the time, the day of the day, or if I am asleep.

Agreed.

I have my phone on an auto rule to be completely silent during my normal sleeping hours but I hate it when I get notifications during a nap.

Hrllo @TravisPflanz. I did a search of the Feature request area and found a suggestion for disabling notification during sleep.

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Disable-Blaze-notifications-during-sleep/idi-p/1...

I was unable to find it, but know there is also a request to be able to schedule a daily quiet time for notifications.

The biggest problem with having auto notification suppression while sleeping is that your tracker does not know when your asleep. As you say Fitbit does, but only after the first sync after waking up..

BTW this area is for Fitbit users to request help for their Fitbitbrelayed problems, the Feature Request area is monitored by the developers for any ideas that the users may hsve.
