FitBit Blaze GPS Tracking Inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Several times in the last few weeks the distance calculation for my run has been grossly off. Today's was over by about 1.5 miles. The path (shown below) is very jagged as though I were darting back and forth across the street and even through peoples' yards. Having read thourgh several of the posts on this forum, the most comon suggestion is to measure and adjust the pre-programmed stride. That may be somthing I ultimiatly correct but I'm not convinced that will fix my particular issue. I contacted my sister-in-law who has a Blaze as well.  She is a much more active runner than I and said she has never encountered this issue.

Below is a screenshot of a portion of my run. I initiated run tracking from the watch (outdoors), skys were clear, and there was minimal tree cover over the course of the run. Can anyone offer guidance on my oddity? I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

That looks like gps signal issue, as the track is darting all over the place. When you initiated the run, can you remember what the signal strength indicator showed?

A warm welcome to the Community @ArcherApollo and @SunsetRunner thanks for stopping by! Woman Wink I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze GPS feature? If you do, I recommend checking our Why isn't GPS working? article, where you will be able to find some troubleshoot about this inconvenience.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
