scroll way to the bottom and tap fitbit
tap notifications and be sure "allow" slider is on
hit the back arrow in the upper right twice
tap whatsapp or facebook

@Markwigan Also - in addition to what @wmchapman posted, the ability to receive 3rd party notifications come with the most recent update which is still being rolled out to users, so if you have not received that update yet, that feature won't be there.
