My Fitbit Blaze no longer keeps its charge.  Within a matter of hours it is dead.  What do I do?

Hi there @jschwartz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂

The battery on your Fitbit Blaze should last for about 5 days. If you notice that it's taking less than that for the battery to drain, please try to restart it by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds until your tracker reboots and then put it to fully charge and see if it takes the same for it to drain again. Also after fully charging it, make sure to sync constantly so that the battery level will be recorded and if it doesn't help, you can feel free to get in touch with the Support Team and once they can verify this they will be happy to get you back on track.

Anything else, let me know. I'll be happy to help!

My Blaze just started doing this as well. I just charged it yesterday and it is dead now. I have attempted the restart and it is charging now. What is the next step if this continues?

Hi there @Candacepants. Good to see you in the Community!

As I mentioned above, after fully charging your Blaze, make sure to sync constantly so that the battery level will be recorded and if it keeps draining faster than it should, you can feel free to get in touch with the Support Team and they will be happy to help you out!

Let me know if you need more help with this! 🙂

Hi thee @Gdbacon! Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker not charging properly.

When you put it to charge... how log does it take for the battery indicator to show that the battery has been fully charged?

Normally, it should take between 1-2 hours. If you leave it more than that, does it ever reach a full charge or it doesn't?

Hi, I am also having charging issues. If I let it drain the battery to the point of shutting down and then charge it, it will usually last about five days. If I charge it any sooner than this, like it hasn't died but is flashing a red battery, even if I leave it charging overnight, it dies after less than 12 hours.

Thanks...
