Fitbit Blaze Problems

Hi I purchased a Fitbit Blaze On the 30th of November 2017 for a Christmas present, this was not used until late December 2017, now 13 Months after purchase the button on the left side has stopped working, without this you cannot do anything with the Fitbit,

 

I have tried deactivating & reactivating the device in my ios app, but it asks for the 4 digit code, well I cannot get the code as the device is useless without the right side button, I wish to claim my rights under the Australian Consumer Guarantee, I cannot sync so I can't get the device to talk to the app, please advise what you require me to do.
