I just got my Fitbit Blaze yesterday, I was having trouble because the Fitbit app repeatedly said that the Fitbit blaze battery was low, even though I had let the Fitbit blaze charge overnight. I tried using a USB wall charger and my computer, but I was not successful. This is the second time in a row this has happened to me. I recently bought a Fitbit surge and the same problem occurred. I am very disappointed with my product and would like to know if there is a problem with my Fitbit, or if I'm doing something wrong.

Best AnswerSince the display still has the www.fitbit.com/setup message, then you will not see any charging indicator.
To tell if it is charging you need to do the setup of the tracker. The app will tell you if the battery is to low to continue.
Once it has been setup the charging indicator will be seen
Best AnswerAre you sure it is actually charging? Tried different charger blocks?
When you do hook it up to the charger, do you see a battery icon on the screen?
If you are not seeing the battery icon then it is not charging. Could be the cable that came with the unit is bad but this is your second device that you say does not charge so I have to think it is the power supply.

I am having A LOT of fun with my Fitbit Blaze now 😄
Best Answerhi,
I am having the same issue.
Even though it doesn't show it's charging when the setup screen is on is it still charging?
Best AnswerOf course, see my post above for a complete description of how t9 iniw that the tracker is charging.
Best Answerthank you.
I'm impatient and want it to charge straight away!
Best AnswerIm even more impatient, having setup at least 20 Fitbits, here are the steps i do:
Put tracker into charger
Plug charger into power
Open the app up
While charging do the setup, the app sees that it is connected to the charger and doesnt complain about the battery level.
Once the battery shows full its ready to rock and roll and is placed on the wrist.
Thank you very much for your instructions. They were more helpful than the site. It's now charging.
Best AnswerBut it won't let you proceed with the set up if the battery is low? So I'm stuck with a fitbit that won't charge OR setup???
Best AnswerI am having the same issues, and this is my 2nd fit bit blaze.... the first one had the exact same problem...
Best AnswerAnd what problem is that @mrsgsmith you don't mention what it is.
Did you feel the vibration when plugging the tracker on, are you using a wall charger?
Best AnswerI bought my fitbit blaze yesterday, put it on the charge and pluggedvit to my computer... it charged at least 5 hours and it the setup display won' even turn on now. The only time the display is on is when it is on charge and it shows the fitbit setup site.
Please help.

Best AnswerHi I have just bought a blaze and am having issues, fresh out the box the battery is too low to set up and in order to charge it I need to update / set it up first...
please can you advise how I fix it? I’ve read the many replies on this and other threads and have tried the suggested solutions to no avail. Please can you assist ?
thanks
Best AnswerYou don't need to set it up or update to be able to charge it @apdalan.
When you turn the Charge 2 on, do you see a screen that says http://www.fitbit.com/setup ?
If so, if I remember the only notification that you will get is s alight vibration when plugging in and another slight vibration if the charging stops.
Normally I plug the tracker in, feel this vibration, open the app and start setting it up. As long as the tracker's battery is above 30% the app seems to let me set it up.
Once setup the app will then prompt to update the tracker.
