Fitbit Blaze black screen overheating.

My Fitbit blaze worked fine yesterday. I ran almost 7 miles and it tracked my work out fine.. After I finished the exercise on my Fitbit the screen went black and I assumed it was dead.. When I got home, I put it on the charger and it immediately overheated. In maybe five minutes it got so hot that I couldn't take it out of the charger with my bare hands.  I left it off the charger all night and charged it for a moment this morning without overheating.

The screen is black and it's not tracking any moments.. I think it's dead.... After only having it for less than a year, I'm a little disappointed.. I would like to get this fixed..

Accepted Solutions

This issue was "resolved".

It is still unknown as to the cause of my blaze no longer working but FitBit has sent me a replacement device..

I am pleased with the resolution, but I am displeased with the amount of time it took to come to a solution. The customer support group is very kind, but  the responses are not prompt and it is a little hard to handle.

It's great to see you around @lovejules and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you have followed our friend's recommendation and get in touch with our support team? Have you received a response or solution from them?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

I have been working with the support team, but the recommendation they gave me did not work and I have yet to hear anything back in response. I just want my device to work again!

I'm having this problem too.  Won't reset or sync but I'll try charging it when I get home.  Third time this happened!  Did you have to call the company?
