Fitbit Blaze counts steps while I sleep

I've had more steps than expected for the few days that I've been wearing my new-to-me Blaze. When I got up this morning, after only a short trip to the kitchen and back, it registered 626 steps. Do I have to stop wearing it at night to get accurate step counts?

Hi @bboxfan  your day begins at midnight, so it's possible to have some steps when you wake up. It will register steps when you move your arm, so you can remove it at night, if you wish.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I'd figured and since I'm more interested
in tracking steps than sleep I've quit wearing it at night.
