Fitbit Blaze not charging and overheating

Hello my first time posting a message so I hope I didn't miss a current discussion on this topic.

Recently my Blaze would not hold a charge as many people were experiencing. A few days ago it stopped charging. When I took it out and put it back into the charging cradle it was very hot to the touch. I was quite concerned and moved it away from some papers. I tried charging it again a few times but each time it was too hot and I was concerned about an electrical malfunction.

Is this fixable?

Please do not try yo charge it any more and contact support
