Fitbit Blaze not recording steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi guys,

My Blaze isn't recording steps correctly and is regularly thousands of steps out. Myself and my partner have been out today, walked the same distance and she's racked up more that 7k's worth of steps (As an example).

I've reset, I've manually counted and it's still out.

Any other ideas?

@Stillers80, im not sure what your saying. Did she rack up 7K more than you, or just had 7K of steps. How many steps did you get?

Who is the raller person, they should get less steps. Was one of you using hiking poles, or maybe she or you did some task that had a lot of arm movements and the other person did not.

Have you done a simple step count test?

Take a walk, swing your arm naturally

Count your steps in your head, i count 200 or 500.

Stop, let the display catch up.

Compare your count with the trackers count.

She totalled over 7k more steps than I did! I'm currently sat at around 3.5k for the day... We're the same height, stride length is almost exact and we don't use poles. She's using an Alta and it's recording very accurately.
