My dads Fitbit suddenly not syncing

weve tried turning off, holding buttons for 10  secs - updated 

etc

Please assist with any other troubleshooting ideas ...

My husband is having the same issue. He thought it was his app, so un installed it and now he can't get it to reconnect at all!

My son works as the IT supervisor for Australasia-
It took him 2 hours to rectify the problem-
We are now all synced but he agreed it was a difficult problem and needed him to really troubleshoot many options - not an easy problem to solve as all the suggestions from Fitbit didn't work!!
I will attempt to ask him to write out the procedure that worked- but Fitbit can have a contract drawn up with several $ 000 beforehand. His talent is worth it!
