Fitbit Blaze screen cracked

I just wanted to relay my story with the Fitbit Blaze I got for my wife.  She used it for about a month or two and didn't like it so it sat dormant for about six months.  My daughter decided to try it out and has liked it but started to have a few problems with it syncing and then told me the screen cracked.  We called customer service and expected some assistance with resolving this issue.  I understood that the watch was over a year old but hoped it could either be sent in for refurbishing or they could replace it.  I have read too many stories of this happening to people with the blaze that I thought the company would stand behind their product.  I have a charge hr and it had a battery issue they covered because it was faulty.  I, like others, was offered a 25% discount on a new blaze.  Are you kidding me.  I spent $200 on a product that was in service for less than a year and the screen cracked and you want us to buy another one.  What does a Blaze cost Fitbit, $5 to   Mass produce?  Even if it cost you $50, the negative press can't be worth it.  I am a physician and recommend patients use a tracking device to track activity.  I can't with good faith recommend your product.  This is not the way to ensure brand loyalty. We will look for a new watch made by Apple.  More importantly is that my daughter, who is in college, does not want a Fitbit now.  Social media is where she lives and I don't even think this company considers what their actions do to their brand recognition.  Their new watch, $300, no way you will get our money.

A warm welcome to the Community @GW66.

I am sorry to hear about what happened with your daughter's Blaze. If you haven't checked our warranty policy, I recommend taking a look at it. Also, if you can use that 25% discount in another device, you can see this page where you will be able to compare our trackers.

See you around. Woman Happy
