Fitbit Blaze with fitbit.com/setup

Got a Blaze for Christmas. Knocked it on and the tracker just flashes fitbit.com/setup. Set up the app and tried to pair it with my Samsung Galaxy S7. The tracker rejects the phone everytime. The tracker will not charge up either. Can someone please help me before I lose my mind!!

It's great to welcome you @SamAlex. In this case, I recommend restarting your Blaze and after the restart process, make sure you are following these steps from your Android Fitbit app:

 

1. Open the Fitbit app.
2. Tap Join Fitbit.
3. Choose your tracker.
4. Tap Set up.
5. Enter your name, email address, and chosen password and tap Next.
6. Enter your basic profile information and tap Save. This information is used to calculate your basal metabolic rate (BMR), which helps determine your calorie count for activities.
7. Follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
