Fitbit Blaze won't pair with iPhone 7

I have a Blaze and a Flex. The Flex is paired and working, but the Blaze is not recognized. It was still working on my iPhone 6s but after I turned off the wifi on my 6s, it forgot the device and doesn't recognize the Blaze anymore.
I have followed the following steps: Turned off Bluetooth on my 6s, 6s Fitbit app forgot the device, deleted Fitbit app on iPhone 7, restarted phone, reset Blaze, reinstalled Fitbit app, turned Bluetooth off and on several times. Any ideas?

Hi @Andie949 you mention two phones, now if you want to sync through the 7, you either want to turn the BT off on the 6 or just turn the 6 off.. This is because a BT receiver, like what the Fitbit has is only able to attach to one BT server which the phone has.
Now that the 6 has its BT off, let's go to the 7 load and run the Fit it app.. Log into your account,, your Blaze should still be listed, and the app should pair the tracker to the phone and do a sync.
Pairing a Fitbit tracker directly to any device is something a user can not do.

Now if you unfortunately remove the tracker from your account you will have to set it up again through the Fitbit app using the add tracker routine.

@Tami4617 when saying the iPhone not see the Blaze, are you in the app or the phones Bluetooth? Is the Blaze attached to your Fitbit account, or are you now setting it up?

In either case everything needs to be done through the app and not the phone's bluetooth.

Hi, I had the same problem with iphone 7, my solution was to restart the blaze. Hold down the left and bottom right buttons for about 5 seconds until the green pattern appears then try and connect again with the app.

Hi! I was also experiencing the same problem after enjoying my Blaze on my iPhone7 for a few months. The solution I found was to do this:

1.Delete your device from the Fitbit app

2. Turn off your Blaze for 30 seconds then turn it on again

3. Delete the Fitbit app and re-install

4. Go to Settings/Bluetooth and "forget this device" on your Blaze

5. Log in again on your newly downloaded Fitbit app

6. Follow the instructions (pair again the device, etc.)

And mine worked after all this! I tried all the other suggested remedies too, and only this one worked for me. Hope this helps with your Fitbit!

@ftteng your steps 1, 3, 5, 6 do not need to be done. Removing it from the app is simply telling fitbit you do not want to use the tracker and has no affect on the phone.

Your step two which disconnects your tracker from the phone might have fixed it but should be step tgree.

If step two doesn't work then try step 4, which probably was the fix, and should be step one.

If it still doesn't sync then do step seven and restart the phine, this should be step two.

Like ftteng, I tried everything.  His/Her fix is the only thng that actaully worked.  I tried every other suggestion. Thanks for these steps... had to do every single one.

I've had this same problem. I've tried everything. Nothing is working. I'm so frustrated. Ready to throw this thing away and get the Apple Watch!

You should give this steps a try first before totally giving up on your blaze. I was also choosing between apple watch and blaze, and i chose blaze due to battery life and price. Don't give up just yet! Update your fitbit app to the latest one and re-do all these steps. It really worked with a lot of my friends too.

Thankyou, yours was the advice that worked for mine too.  I had been missing being able to use the music controls and the notifications.

I just upgraded my iPhone and I am unable to connect to the Blaze FitBit. Even following your steps I am not even seeing it in the Bluetooth connections.

I need any other suggestions to get this to work.

Bluetooth has connected to my other devices but not the Blaze

Very frustrating
