My partner would like one and we've got our anniversary coming up so it's an ideal time to buy one but he doesn't have a phone, only an iPod Touch?
Would this be something I could get him? He wants it for the fitness side of things. If not he doesn't care if the data isn't kept track of, he just wants to know how many calories he has burned per day and to tell the time, this is the watch he likes.
Basically what I'm saying is can it be connected to his iPod Touch and not have receive all of my notifications from my iPhone

I went to the top of the page and typed ipod into the search bar. Found this post, the other thing you can do is go to the compatable list and check.
Now if the tracker is receiving motifs Atkins from a phone, and you don't want this, go to the phones Bluetooth settings and remove the Fitbit device.

Allow me to help you @AmberJayne! As @Rich_Laue mentioned in all those helpful links. The only supported iPod touch that we have are iPod Touch 5th generation and 6th generation.
You may want to advice your friend that he can always use the computer to sync the tracker's information. He just need to plug the Dongle in the computer and everytime he's near it will sync automatically.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
