Fitbit OS, apps and clock faces & features on Fitbit Blaze

There's a lot of people asking for new clockfaces and features for the blaze --- there's a lot of demand right now since the Blaze is quite capable of having more features --- but is it possible for it to have downloadable clockfaces that you can choose from (like in the Ionic and Versa) from the Fitbit app or Fitbit OS (basically the customizable thing SDK development coding thing) for the clockfaces and maybe even for apps as well?

I mean, since Fitbit has decided to discontinue the Blaze (if that is the case) will we get anymore updates which includes more features and clock faces? I've checked several posts from the site about the clockfaces and features, and a lot of people say that it's up to Fitbit to decide or you have to vote for features ... but didn't they add 4 clockfaces quite a while ago due to community demand (which there is now)?

Since Blaze is colour-touchscreen, it should be capable of having more clockfaces and features, such as customizable / downloadable clockfaces or clockfaces that you can customise using Fitbit OS, etc. and more features such as more applications like the ones Ionic and Versa has.

Hi @TheComputerFun. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

Thanks a lot for sharing your suggestion with us. However, adding more clock faces or installing an OS on the Fitbit Blaze is something that is not currently planned for this tracker specifically. As you mention, these functionalities have been implemented on the latest trackers (Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa).

I'd say that the hardware capability is not apt for doing something like this and this is the reason why it would not be possible to run an OS on what the Blaze is right now.

Thanks a lot for your comprehension and any other question you may have, I'm here to answer in what I can.
