Fitbit One dashboard to Blaze dashboard

Blazers / Blazettes,

Looking seriously at the Blaze for an upgrade from my TRUSTY FitBit One.  Very happy with the Fitbit One; I'm going to trust the Blaze lasts for years, also.

When I get one, does it just overwrite everything on my FitBit One dashboard, or does it create another link?.....It'd nice if I could get it to apend to what I've done since 2013 instead of wiping the slate clean.  Any FitBit One to Blaze users in here?....

Thanks,

Mark

You keep the same dashboard along with all your settings and tracking data. You also have a choice of replacing your One with a Blaze or, what I do, add the Blaze so you have both the One and Blaze linked to your account and you can switch between then two.

As @StevrH pointed out the data already recorded by your One is about you, not about the tracker. Changing our adding s tracker to your account will only change the device that is recording your movements.

Thanks, Steve.  Sure 'nuff.... my dashboard has both the Blaze and One on it.  Just got the Blaze today......I'll probably take the One off the dashboard tomorrow....

....... just a little question.....I've been using the Fitbit One since 2013...... after the setup of the Blaze, the Windows dashboard looks the same.... is there a new dashboard to install?  I was looking to see if any kind of heartbeat was present anywhere?...

Off to read the manual between calls,

Mark

It's great to have you here @SunsetRunner! You will keep the same Dashboard, you just need to set up the Blaze in the existing account so you don't lose your information. Since, now you have the Blaze, you should have the heart rate tile in your account. In case it's not showing, you may just want to add it by doing the following:

  1. Click the Menu icon on the left side of the dashboard.
    User-added image
  2. Click the check box next to the tile you'd like to add.
  3. Click Done.

Hope this helps. Smiley Happy
