Fitbit blaze battery life

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My blaze battery has suddenly started draining very rapidly. It used to last 4 to 5 days but now it's suddenly only lasting 24 hours after a full charge.

the battery went flat whilst I was on holiday but worked fine once fully charged but now suddenly won't keep its charge.

its only just out of its 12 month warranty surprise surprise🤔🤔🤔

ive tried resetting the watch but it made no difference.

anyone else experiencing this issue and how can it be rectified?

Mines just started doing the same thing won't go all day on a charge. I've had no problems up until now , had mine for 9 months.

Thanks for the suggestions but have tried all these and the recommendations from Fitbit support but battery life continues to degrade had to charge up twice this weekend , just waiting for a final reply from support . If I'm not satisfied with the outcome I'm considering abandoning the Fitbit ship and turning to another brand . This is the 2nd Fitbit product that has I've bought in last two years .
Impressed at first but problems arise very quickly with these devices

I've tried resetting mine a few times now and it's made no difference what's so ever. Unfortunately My 12 months guarantee has run out so can't see Fitbit replacing my Blaze.

really like the watch but won't be buying another one as I expect it to last longer than 15 months for the money I paid.

awaiting Fitbits response to my issue.

Tried the tips and to no avail.

still having the same battery issues.

my blaze is only 14 months old, got to admit I'm disappointed to have this problem out of guarantee as I like the watch but won't be purchasing another one as I expect it to last longer for the money that I paid.

I have only had my blaze 4 days and have had to charge it twice. It lasts at best 2 days... i thought this thing was suppose to last up to 5 days.. this is my first fitbit at that and so far im dissapointed.... im highly considering taking it back.. something has got to be wrong.. it is brand new!

Yes.....I've been having the same issue!! I thought it was because I got a new phone, S8, and my blaze starting draining battery life! The S8 is not even listed on fitbits list of compatible phones?! I've had my blaze for 9 months. Glad to know there are others with this same problem! Hope it can be fixed!

No zero support and I've tried your suggestions and no change.

I've haven't changed  any settings on what I'm using on my Fitbit so for the battery to suddenly start draining like it is I find very unacceptable.

I look forward to hearing a positive reply/outcome from Fitbit.

Apart from the initial email with suggestions for extending battery life , which I tried but with no success I've emailed the results of supports recommended battery test , and have received no further correspondence.

It appears from the other community posts that I am far from alone with this problem

I pre ordered my blaze last Feb, I was in a couple of bata testing for fitbit using my Blaze and they told me to wait till the battery blinked red before charging which I have done and my charges have lasted longer.  Then 10 days ago my Blaze would not change faces, I was stuck with the clock, still got notifications, and tracking was still on the dashboard,  ie it was still working but I could not get to the exercise face, relax face etc.  So I called customer service, they went through a few things with me and said that my battery was defective.  Out of warranty, gave me a 25% discount on a new one.  I was disappointed by I love the fitbit and am used to it.  So I ordered a new one.  But still kept wearing my old one still got steps and it was a watch.  Well not so long story short, the day I got my new Blaze, my old one showed on the clock face a blinking red light for battery,  I fiddled with it and my faces started to work again, by the time I got home black Blaze.  So for laughs and giggles I charged it fully, 3 hours later it is in great working order.  Everything working.  I will keep using it and if it continues to work will send back the new Blaze. Hope this helps

Same as.

had a replacement Blaze sent out to me just 2 months ago. Unsure whats happened, i'm guessing it's app related as the Blaze itself hasn't had a firmware update in a while. The device now lasts around 2 days max as opposed to 4-5 days normally. No settings or changes have been made to notifications etc so unsure whats happened.

Fitbit are kindly sending me a replacement. Will report back if that works any better or suffers from the same issue.
