Fitbit blaze not working properly

I've had my blaze for less than 24 hours. It has turned itself off on 3 occasions and needed restarting. The screen has frozen twice and needed restarting. And now the battery is nearly out due to all the restarting. There must be something more fundamentally wrong isn't there?

try these steps and see if it improves before contacting support

Please clean the contacts

Then Do a Restart
