Does anyone know if there is a way to set your text notifications to only display the name of the person who is texting you verses the entire message content?

Hello @Sherilyn515 welcome to the Fitbit Community! Currently it's not possible to display only the name of the person who is texting you. You can add this idea to our Feature Request boardThis forum is the ideal place for you to share your thoughts with the Fitbit Community and Fitbit product developers. Take a moment to share your idea and if possible post the link to the idea here so other users can vote for it! @Safvi thanks for your cooperation!

Let me know if you have any questions! 🙂

I'm not an iOS person but on android this is done through a setting on the messaging app.

There's no such setting in the iOS Messages app that I'm aware of so I'd say it can't be done currently.

@Sherilyn515 yes, assuming Fitbit respects the notification center settings. See this article for configuration info:

All iOS notification settings are found on Settings > Notifications and then select the app you wish to control.

Wished that would have worked. I'm able to control notifications on my lock screen, and even turn off text notifications on lock screen and just push to apple watch. Works great. Sorry I gave up trying to get it working on Blaze because I need more than calls/calendar/text notifications.

Great to see you around @bbarrera@Rich_Laue@MikeF and @Fav150. Thanks for the information. Woman Wink As our friend @AngelaMa commented, the iOS Fitbit app doesn't have this feature. I recommend following her recommendation and visit our feature request board and leave your suggestion.
