Fitbit blaze won't turn on

I just got a brand new Fitbit blaze but it won't turn on I've tried holding the bottom button with the on button for 15seconds but that hasn't worked. 

When ive plunged it in to charge it lights up but nothing appears on the screen was wondering if anyone else had this problem and how to fix it?
